HERE ARE THE TOPICS WE'LL BE CHATTING ABOUT DURING OUR SESSION

(WE WILL BE FILLING IN THE 'WILDSCAPING BALANCE SHEET' (HELPING YOU TO SEE WHAT YOU 'TAKE' FROM THE PLANET AND WHAT YOU CAN 'GIVE BACK' MOST EASILY, CELEBRATING ALL OF OUR WILD WINS) THROUGHOUT THE SESSION AND YOU'LL BE EMAILED A COPY AFTERWARDS.

POWERING/FUELLING OUR LIVES & RESIDENCES

- What power sources are there for us & our homes to use?

- What and how can we BEST take from the planet (through a form of energy) to live our lives to the max?

- How can we power our homes and lifestyles in such a way that we are still living in harmony with the world around us and all of the other species that share our spaces?

- How/what can we give back (so that we are operating more in balance with our planet)?

WILDSCAPING PRACTICALITIES

(YOUR HOME INTERIOR)

We'll begin by looking at the kind of property you live in (House with a garden & a balcony / House with a garden / House with no garden but a balcony / House with no garden and no balcony / Flat with garden / Flat with no garden / Flat with balcony / Flat with no garden or balcony) and the decisions you can make within the space...

Have a look at some of these IDEAS to get an initial impression of some of the options available to you, that we'll be chatting about.

We will be looking into your unique home/property, making sure that this session is tailored to what you most want from your home (to benefit yourself and your loved ones) and then looking at how you can have everything you desire in as planet friendly a way as possible...

A. Your interior environment itself.

B. We'll look at everything that you use to mark out your space (furniture / rugs / painting & prints / lights / decorations).

C. We will chat about your daily life (cleaning products & kitchen products / bath & body products, cosmetics & perfumes / beverages / books / TV & other technology / stationary / sports gear / pet products / blankets & throws).

D. What are some brilliant clothing options (from casual to party to work to outdoor, as well as accessories)?

E. There are A LOT of creative recycling options that you may not be aware of (and a lot of ways to upcycle your 'rubbish' in ways that might also bring you a small profit).

F. We'll chat about First Aid materials and home medicines (there are a lot of planet friendly options available).

G. What about your home interior 'territory & boundaries' (what to do about sharing your interior with other species, if/when they appear)?

EXTERIOR HOME SPACES

YOUR OWN ‘WILD EXTERIOR’

Whether your home is owned/rented and your 'outside space' is a home window box or a large garden, during our session we'll look at what you want most from the space for yourself and your loved ones and even your pets.

These are just some examples of the helpful questions that we'll be going through, to determine how your exterior spaces can serve both your own desires and local wildlife...

A. What do I really want from this space, to benefit myself/my family/my pets?
B. Are there any spaces that I/we can give up to other species, for them to use?
C. Is there a way to collaborate with other species in these spaces?
Eg. Can I install Bird & Bat Bricks / Hedgehog Highways / Letting trees grow / Putting fresh water out every day & night / Letting plants self seed themselves and claim bits of territory for themselves?
D. What boundaries do I need to put in place? (Eg. I’d like to have wildlife only use the bottom of my garden and I’d like to keep the grass short near the house, to sunbathe on).

MANAGING YOUR SPACES

We'll put a list together of what contractors you might need to hire (even if that's just a gardener, for a small aspect of your plans).

Eg. A handyman to cut a Hedgehog Highway in your fence or builders to install Bat & Bird Bricks.

MAINTAINING YOUR SPACES

We'll chat about overall tips and hints on maintaining your new spaces, set up to require very little (if any) effort from you.

(If you have any challenges or concerns, Wildscaping Worldwide is also always available to help - FREE - with any ongoing queries).

HAVING A 'WILDLIFE FIRST AID OFFICER' IN YOUR HOME

At least half of the calls to Wildlife Rescues about poorly/orphaned wildlife casualties are from people who have found these animals in their garden and need urgent advice on how to help them.

If you are already set up (with the right carriers and disinfectant and towels etc) and have a list of your nearest high welfare Wildlife Rescues and/or Vet Practices to give the animal to, you will be able to help that animal ideally within a matter of minutes (instead of the sometimes days that it can take, trying to find help) giving him/her a much greater chance of survival and ensuring that they are also pain free and comfortable much faster, as a lot of the animals you may find will have broken bones and other injuries.
